When I find the upgrade station and see that all the upgrades add new combos that I'm gonna have to commit to memory, I see a game intended for someone else. It's competent. Has what I think are some objective problems, like a slightly fumbled "breaking the fourth wall" layer on top of the actual game, but it's biggest problem for me is that it's just not for me.
