        <description>"Boomer shooter" implies to me that a game carries forward the superficial aspects of the shooters of the nineties. I don't like that here, although superficially you could call Prodeus that. The significant thing it does to me is it carries forward the timeless feeling of Doom and Quake, that most shooters of the era did not have. I can fire up Doom or Quake on any given day and have a great time. The same can't be said for every shooter of the era. Prodeus has that, along with a peppering of modernity. In short: it's fun and you should try it. 😁</description>
