https://cuddly.tube/videos/watch/15c3cd60-304d-40a9-99f7-a1dd63499777 Through my friends at the wonderful Ted Coningsby channel over on YouTube I heard of an air show which is held at the Scottish town of Ayr and is aptly named The International Ayr Show – Festival of Flight or simply Ayr Show. One of, if not the highlight of the event was the flying display of the 2024 RAF Typhoon display pilot Flt Lt David Turnbull (callsign: Turbo) and his Eurofighter Typhoon which he did twice, once on Friday when the sun was about to set and once on Saturday in bright daylight. What you see in this video is the dusk display on Friday which of course gave great light but made it a bit harder to film and so let me say sorry for the aircraft sometimes not being perfectly in focus and for the occasional shakiness of the pictures, which I tried to compensate for as best I could. The aircraft shown in the video is ZJ913, a tranche 1 Eurofighter Typhoon at the time flying with 29 squadron at RAF Coningsby which has been given a special livery for the 2024 season commemorating the 80th anniversary of D-day, the landing of the Allies on the beaches of Normandy during world war 2. And referring to the markings coming with this livery it had also gained a name: Moggy. By now (2025) Moggy has been transferred to RAF Lossiemouth to serve as a ground training aircraft.
